Loughborough University Publication Scheme
Current Model Publication Scheme
Under section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) all public authorities must adopt and maintain a publication scheme. A publication scheme must set out the classes of information a public authority will publish, explain the way they will publish the information and specify any charges for making certain information available.
The Information Commissioner has developed and approved a model publication scheme for public authorities and Loughborough University have adopted this model. The update and operation of the publication scheme is currently under review and this is taking place in tandem with an Institutional reassessment of the University’s webpages. We anticipate that the new publication scheme will be fully available in the coming months.
Part A: Introduction
Part B: Structure of the Publication Scheme and Guidance on How to Use It.
The publication scheme is divided into nine sections, split into subsections, each of which contains links to relevant web-sites and includes the names of relevant offices which may be contacted for hard copies of information included in the publication scheme.
